What was once an awkward, cluttered area is now a clean and highly functional bespoke under-stairs storage solution, designed around the customer’s home and everyday needs.
This project began with a simple hand-drawn sketch showing how the customer wanted to use the space beneath the stairs. The idea included a full-height wardrobe, bench seating, shoe storage, and three fitted cupboards shaped around the staircase.
Using the sketch as a starting point, we developed a practical layout and adapted IKEA furniture with bespoke carpentry and made-to-measure doors. The finished result follows the original concept closely while improving the storage, proportions, and overall appearance.
